Incyte Pathologists

Brian E. Staley, M.D.

Dr. Staley has been a pathologist at Incyte Diagnostics assigned to Kadlec Medical Center since 2006 and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He graduated from the University of Utah Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, ARUP Laboratories and affiliated hospitals. His subspecialty interests include cytology, gynecologic and gastrointestinal pathology.

Dr. Staley came to Incyte Diagnostics from AmeriPath-Utah, where he was Managing Director and Utah State College of American Pathologists (CAP) Commissioner. He has served as the medical director of laboratories in Utah, Wyoming, Arizona and Alaska.
Dr. Staley was the recipient of the 2010 Spirit of Planetree Physician Champion Award, which recognizes a physician who exemplifies the Planetree model of patient-centered care and whose actions demonstrate her or him to be a role model for other medical staff members at Kadlec Medical Center.
Dr. Staley has served on the Kadlec tumor board, Blood Utilization Committee, Medical Executive Committee and has worked as the Chairman of Kadlec Medical Associates. He has acted as a consultant for Dayton General Hospital and is a member of the Benton County Medical Society and the Spokane County Medical Society.
Dr. Staley speaks fluent Japanese and has worked as a laboratory accreditation consultant for several large Japanese laboratories.
Dr. Staley is licensed to practice in Washington, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona and California.
