Incyte Pathologists

Stephen B. Williams, D.D.S.
Dr. Williams is a board certified oral & maxillofacial pathologist.  He  joined Incyte Diagnostics in June of 2015 after completing a distinguished 30+ year career in the U.S. Armed Forces.  Dr. Williams will assume the directorship of Incyte’s oral biopsy service.
Dr. Williams was born and raised in Missouri and received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. He then earned his DDS degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. After completing a one-year general practice residency program, he practiced general dentistry at assignments in Korea and Utah.
Following his selection for military graduate education in oral & maxillofacial pathology, Dr. Williams entered the residency program at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Upon completion of his residency, he served as a staff pathologist at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and chief of oral pathology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC.
After completing assignments in Texas and Germany, Dr. Williams returned to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology as the assistant chairman in the department of oral & maxillofacial pathology. Later assignments included tours of duty in Hawaii and at two bases in Texas.
Dr. Williams has held numerous teaching appointments over the years, and he has supported and mentored an entire generation of military residents in general dentistry, oral & maxillofacial surgery and ENT. Throughout his career, he has served on several tumor boards, research committees, institutional review boards and quality assurance committees.
Dr. Williams is married to his wife, Ellen, and has one grown son.
