Cheddhi Thomas, M.D.
Dr. Thomas joined Incyte Diagnostics in 2016, and is board certified in anatomic pathology. He is fellowship-trained in neuropathology.
Dr. Thomas attended The University of South Florida, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. While at USF, he was involved in research in Biophysics and Behavioral Psychology.
He received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT. He subsequently completed his anatomic pathology residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Thomas then chose to complete a fellowship in neuropathology at NYU Langone Medical Center. The neuropathology services provided by the NYU Department of Pathology supported patients from multiple hospitals and many outside referrals. While there, he reviewed many complex neurological cases including tumors cases that ranged from stereotaxic biopsies to gross resections, as well as many infectious and epileptic cases. Muscle biopsies were also from received from diverse populations including the NYU Medical Center Muscular Dystrophy Center. Additionally, Dr. Thomas also had the opportunity to analyze a significant number of diverse pediatric and adult brain autopsies.
Dr. Thomas has actively published in neuropathology journals, and has presented at the USCAP annual meeting and multiple times at the yearly AANP meetings.
Dr. Thomas has subspecialty interest in neuropathology. In his spare time he likes to brew beer, play guitar and saxophone, and spend time outdoors hiking or kayaking.
