Specimen Type: Direct scrape/spatula collection
Specimen Collection: Cytology fixative, specimen container, syringe/needle, glass slides, number 2 lead pencil, spray fixative.

Specimen Stability: Maintain the specimen at room temperature.
Unacceptable Specimen: Unlabeled specimens, Specimens in incorrect fixative (such as formalin) can only be processed as a cell block.
