Sanjay Logani, M.D.

Dr. Logani joined Incyte Diagnostics in 2008 and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, as well as cytopathology. He has subspecialty expertise in gynecologic pathology.  Dr. Logani is currently serving as the Laboratory Medical Director at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington.  

Prior to joining InCyte, Dr. Logani was an Associate Professor at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, in the Department of Pathology. In addition, he was Director of the Surgical Pathology Fellowship Program at Emory.
 
Dr. Logani served as consultant in gynecologic pathology for both clinicians and pathologist in the metro-Atlanta area and received referral cases from a number of practices in the Southeast region.
 
Dr. Logani obtained his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University in New Delhi, India, and completed his pathology residency at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.
 
Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in cytopathology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a gynecologic pathology fellowship at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, NY.
 
Dr. Logani has extensive teaching experience and was a Laboratory Instructor for the Medical Student Organ- based Pathology Course and Advanced Pathobiology Course at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI; the Medical Student Organ-based Pathology Course at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA; and taught Disorders of the Endometrium and Gynecologic Pathology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.
 
Dr. Logani served as a committee member on the National State of the Science Conference in Bethesda, MD, that resulted in the uniform terminology for reporting thyroid fine needle aspirations.
 
Dr. Logani has served on the editorial board for Cytojournal and as a peer reviewer for Diagnostic Cytopathology.
