David W. Shneidman, M.D.

Dr. Shneidman has been a staff pathologist of Incyte Diagnostics since 1989. He is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and dermatopathology.

Dr. Shneidman completed his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA and completed his pathology residency at the University of California, San Diego in San Diego, CA, where he was Chief Resident.
Following residency, Dr. Shneidman completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of California, Irvine Dermatopathology Program in Irvine, CA. His fellowship included training under Dr. James Graham, one of the founders of academic dermatopathology in the United States, and a founder of the American Society of Dermatopathology. While at UC Irvine, Dr. Shneidman worked with Dr. Ronald Barr, a well-known dermatopathologist and past president of the American Society for Dermatopathology.
Dr. Shneidman has been a clinical faculty member at the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he holds an appointment as a clinical associate professor and has taught dermatopathology to a generation of residents.
While primarily a service-oriented general pathologist, Dr. Shneidman has published articles as the lead author in JAMA, Virchow’s Archiv, the journal Cancer, and has compiled an atlas for the American Society of Dermatology.
Dr. Shneidman is past president of the Midland County Medical Society and past Chief of Staff of Physicians and Surgeons at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX.
Practicing in the Puget Sound area for over 23 years, Dr. Shneidman has been active in the local medical community. He is currently licensed in the states of Washington, California and Texas.
