Deborah Nautsch, M.D.

Deborah Nautsch, M.D. joined Incyte Diagnostics in August, 2016. Dr. Nautsch graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with a degree in Chemistry. She received her doctor of medicine degree from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, NY, where she received the Irving M. Ratner Prize for Excellence in Pathology.

She completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston and Tufts University School of Medicine in Springfield, MA. During her residency, Dr Nautsch was awarded for Outstanding Performance in Gastrointestinal Pathology Service and Molecular Pathology.

After her residency, she developed her subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal and liver pathology during fellowship training at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY.  Dr. Nautsch was involved with numerous research studies including “Spectrin Immunohistochemistry in the Diagnosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma” and “Immunohistochemistry Validation for Benign Liver Nodules.” In addition to reviewing all complex gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary cases, she was intimately involved in the pediatric and adult medical liver and liver transplant services
Dr. Nautsch is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.
