SST - Samples should not be taken from patients receiving therapy with high biotin doses (i.e.greater than 5 mg/day) until at least 8 hours following the last biotin administration. Centrifuge within 45 minutes of collection and transfer serum to an Amber Light Protected aliquot tube. |
